Jabra isn’t just a tech brand dipping its toes into hearing health.
It’s owned by GN, a Danish heavyweight in the space. GN also makes ReSound, one of the world’s leading in-clinic hearing aid brands. Most of that clinic-grade technology is carried over into the Jabra line, which is sold in two main places: Costco and directly online.
In this guide, I’ll share my experience with Jabra hearing aids, walk you through their current lineup, and highlight what makes each model unique. I’ll also cover how to choose the right option for your needs and compare Jabra devices with other leading brands in the OTC hearing aid space.
Let's dig in!

Jabra Hearing Aid Options

Jabra has streamlined its hearing aid lineup in recent years, now offering a smaller collection of receiver-in-canal models across a few technology levels. The biggest difference between Jabra options isn’t the devices themselves, but where you purchase them.
Today, you’ll find Jabra hearing aids in two places:
- Costco Hearing Centers – Jabra Enhance Pro 30
- Price: $1,699/pair.
- In-person testing, fitting, and follow-up.
- 180-day return window.
- Perks like free cleanings while you shop.
- Online – Jabra Enhance Select
- Models: 50R ($1,195), 300 ($1,695), 500
- Devices pre-programmed to your online hearing test.
- 100-day return window.
- 3-year warranty, 3 years of loss & damage coverage, and 3 years of tele-audiology support.
How the Models and Purchase Paths Differ
- If you like the convenience of shipping and telehealth care, choose Jabra Enhance Select (online).
- If you prefer face-to-face service (or you’re already a Costco regular), consider Jabra Enhance Pro 30 (Costco).
- Core technology across both channels is nearly identical.
Important note: If your hearing loss is greater than moderate (you can take our free test here), you’ll want to visit a local clinic or local Costco, where a provider can provide the extra volume you need. The online Jabra option is currently best suited for mild to moderate hearing loss.

Jabra Enhance Select
Quality Care Through Telehealth

Jabra Enhance Select is sold directly through Jabra’s website and comes in three tiers:
- Select 50R ($1,195/pair): Entry-level but still competitive with the OTC market. Rechargeable with core noise management.
- Select 300 ($1,695/pair): Mid-tier with stronger processing and better speech-in-noise performance.
- Select 500 ($1,995/pair): Top-tier option, offering the smallest size, Bluetooth LE Audio, Auracast streaming, and TapControl. This is the closest online equivalent to Costco’s Pro 30.
Every Select customer, regardless of model, gets:
- 3 years of professional telecare.
- 3-year warranty and loss & damage coverage.
- Devices custom-programmed to your online hearing test and shipped ready to wear.
It’s one of the most sophisticated telehealth hearing programs available—ideal for those who want the convienience of OTC without skipping professional support.
How the online process works:
✔️ Start with a hearing test on Jabra’s website or send in an up-to-date audiogram.
✔️ With your test in hand, Jabra will program your hearing aids and ship them to you.
✔️ If you need further adjustments, Jabra’s hearing team will tune your program remotely.
✔️ Jabra offers 3 years of unlimited follow-up care with all purchases
My Jabra Enhance Select Review
I’ve tried several generations of Jabra’s direct-to-consumer products, and I’ve always been impressed by the service. The technology inside Jabra hearing aids feels very familiar to me because I’ve also spent time in ReSound devices—I recognize the same bright, crisp sound and the easy-to-use smartphone app that GN consistently delivers.
Both the Costco and online paths have their perks, but the convenience of ordering online has always drawn me to Jabra.
With my moderate hearing loss, I’m a good candidate for their online products. If your hearing loss is more severe, though, you’ll want to head to Costco for prescription-level sound output.

Jabra Enhance Pro
In-Person Care Through Costco

The Costco-exclusive Jabra Enhance Pro 30 launched in 2025 as the successor to the Pro 20. Priced at $1,699/pair, it delivers technology that is nearly identical to the Select 500 online model:
- Same Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast support.
- Strong sound processing powered by GN’s latest chip.
- Micro RIE (receiver-in-ear) design that’s sleek and discreet.
The biggest difference between Jabra Enhance Select and Jabra Enhance Pro comes down to how you receive your care:
- Hearing test done in Costco’s sound booth.
- Fitting and follow-up care in-store.
- 180-day return window (longer than the 100 days online).
- Perks like free cleanings and adjustments during Costco visits.
My Jabra Enhance Pro Review
I’ve been through the Costco hearing aid fitting process a few times and recently spent a couple of weeks wearing the Jabra Enhance Pro 30. The device is small, offers strong background noise suppression, and delivers the bright, crisp sound I’ve come to expect from GN.
The in-person fitting process at Costco is straightforward and effective, though I personally prefer the convenience of care from home over navigating the crowds at my local store. That said, Costco remains a solid option, especially for people with hearing loss that falls outside the fitting range of Jabra’s online offerings.
Are Jabra Hearing Aids Good?
In short, yes. Jabra's parent company GN also owns ReSound and swaps technology between the brands freely.
ReSound, and Jabra are widely respected in consumer technology and audiology spaces.
How to Choose
Both channels offer excellent devices. The decision comes down to your style of care and the degree of your hearing loss:
- Online buyers: If you value convenience, prefer not to drive for appointments, and are comfortable with telehealth, choose Jabra Enhance Select.
- Costco fans: If you want in-person care, appreciate the peace of mind of longer return periods, and like the idea of combining visits with other errands, choose Jabra Enhance Pro 30.
- Consider your hearing loss: With mild to moderate loss, either option can work well. If your loss is more severe, Costco can fit a wider range of hearing needs.

Either way, you’ll be getting some of the best hearing aid technology available outside a traditional clinic.
How Jabra Stacks Up Against Other OTC Leaders
Compared to competitors like Sennheiser All Day Clear, Sony CRE-C20, or Nuance Audio, Jabra devices tend to:
- Cost a bit more (starting closer to $1,200 rather than $800–$1,000).
- Only come in Receiver-in-Canal (RIC) form factors (no in-ear or earbud-style options right now).
- Stand out for their care programs (3 years of coverage online, robust in-store Costco services).
Final Thoughts
If you are searching for a good pair of hearing aids, Jabra is a solid choice.
Jabra Enhance Select competes with the best-in-class premium products at half the price and Jabra Enhance Plus puts the power in your hands with at-home fitting and an innovative design. You can review all of my favorite hearing brands here.
